About Us.

Southstar Charter was born in 1996 and has been working in the charter field with its own boats ever since. It is registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno (no.03284610650, R.E.A. 286686). With years of experience, we offer cruising holidays with the choice of Cabin Charter, where you can charter an individual bunk or cabin, or Bareboat, where you can charter the whole boat, sailed by a professional skipper, for a safe, individually tailored cruise. In addition, during the winter months, we offer courses from complete beginners to offshore sailing for sailors with experience. We also offer courses for sailing trimarans and courses for skippers.

Cabin Charter

We offer low-cost sailing holidays, flotilla holidays and special events. When viewing our website, you will be able to find the best cruise for your needs whether it be for Singles, Couples, Families and groups of friends. Weekly cruises using various formulae: Classic, Prestige and Luxury. In addition, you can find last minute offers and special events for the whole 2017 season. Cabin charter consist of renting a single place or cabin on a boat sailed by a professional skipper and, by request, with a hostess.

Bareboat Charter

We also operate classic bareboat charters where experienced sailors can charter the whole boat or catamaran for themselves, their families or friends – usually from Saturday to Saturday. They can, however, also ask for a skipper to sail with them to guide them through the week and relieve them of the responsibility for the well being of the boat and crew. Sailing School

We offer sailing courses for people of every age and ability, from complete beginners to experienced sailors wanting to improve their abilities and techniques. We also offer coursed to become a skipper. For more info go to Sailing School.
