Amalfi, Positano, Ischia, Procida e Capri
A sailing holiday cruise in one of our yachts along the Amalfi Coast, renowned worldwide for its beauty and playground for the international Jet Set. Amalfi, the antique Maritime Republic; Positano, with its pretty houses gripping the mountainside; Capri, possibly the most beautiful place on Earth; the relaxing Ischia with its thermal spas and finally the pretty Island of Procida. Furthermore, the villages of Minori, Maiori, Cetara and Vietri - famous worldwide for its ceramics. A combination of pretty villages growing out of the rocks, beautiful gardens, olive and lemon groves hanging on the mountainside, a coastline steeped in history which drops steeply into a beautiful blue sea.
Base: Port of Salerno, Molo Manfredi, Saturday to Saturday.
Saturday:welcome on board with a toast in the afternoon, time to pack your gear away in your cabin, and a quick briefing on the week’s itinerary, the ship’s instruments and the purchase of supplies. 3-hour sail to Positano where we arrive in the evening. Dinner on board or alternatively in a restaurant in the bustling Piazzetta. After dinner, a walk around the small town to visit its art galleries and its colorful “Moda Positano” boutiques. Positano has hosted painters and writers for years and continues today to be one of the “Jet Set’s” favorite venues. Overnight stay at anchor.
Sunday:Breakfast on board followed by a relaxing swim in the transparent waters of the pretty Galli Islands, once home to Rudolf Nureyev, and then on to the wonderful Island of Capri. On arrival at Capri, time for a relaxing swim and lunch by the Faraglioni, two spectacular rocks that jut straight out of the cristal-blue sea. In the afternoon, time for a swim in the turquoise waters of the White Grotto and then we lay at anchor off Marina Piccola. Aperitif and dinner on board or alternatively, a drink at one of the bars in the famous “Piazzetta”, dinner in a restaurant, followed by a walk amongst Capri’s luxurious designer shops. To end, “Capri by Night” in one of Capri’s exclusive clubs.
Monday: Breakfast on board followed by a walk around the famous island to visit its many attractions. Aperitif and lunch on the island or on board, then we set sail for a tour around the island, stopping for a swim at the Arco Naturale and a visit to the Blue Grotto and then on to the Island of Ischia, Forio. Dinner on board or alternatively in one of the fish restaurants in the pretty town. Overnight stay in the port.
Tuesday: Breakfast on board and then on to St. Angelo. On arrival we stop for a swim in the thermal waters of the Bay of Sorgeto, followed by a visit to the Rock of St.Angelo with its famous castle and fishing village below. Dinner on board followed by a swim under the stars or alternatively in one of the super restaurants in the village. Overnight stay at anchor.
Wednesday: Breakfast on board, a quick swim and then we set sail for the Island of Procida. After a sail around the island and lunch on board we visit the pretty island where its colorful houses, fishermen mending their nets on the quayside, the silence and the smell of the sea all contribute to creating a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. Dinner on board or in one of the island’s restaurants overlooking the sea.

Thursday: Breakfast on board, and then set sail across the bay of Naples towards Amalfi. As we give our final farewell to Mount Vesuvious, we pass by the Punta Campanella Nature reserve, where the waters of the Bay of Naples mix with those of the Gulf of Salerno. After an afternoon swim off the Furore Fijord, we reach Amalfi. A visit to the Arabo/Romanic cathedral with its Chiostro del Paradiso and the Basilica del Crocefisso is a must. Try the local Limoncello (lemon liqueur) and the Sfogliata di Santa Rosa (a delicious local pastry) at a bar in the piazza. Dinner and shopping. Overnight stay in the Port of Amalfi.
Friday:After breakfast on board, we take a swim at the Marmorata waterfall and the Grotta Pandora after which we sail along the coast and see L’Arco Naturale, Sophia Loren’s villa, and the Grotta dello Smeraldo . On reaching Conca dei Marini, we can have lunch in one of the two charming restaurants on the beach, or alternatively we can eat on board at the Spiaggia dei Limoni, just off Cetara, the fishing village famous for its anchovies and tuna. After lunch we set sail for Salerno with arrival in the Port of Salerno in the late afternoon. Dinner on board or alternatively in the medieval town centre followed by a visit to Salerno’s late-night “movida” which is second to none. Overnight stay on board in the Port of Salerno.
Saturday: Breakfast on board. After breakfast, guests are asked to leave the boat by 10.00am.
